People make their way through the snow on Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati on Friday, Jan. 19. More snow is in the forecast this week.

Snow is on the way to Greater Cincinnati, but don’t expect it to last long.

After a warm-up at the end of last week, it is expected to cool down in the coming days, but daytime temperatures should remain above freezing, according to the National Weather Service at Wilmington. Below-freezing temperatures and precipitation are in the forecast during overnight hours early this week.

Expect that weather pattern Monday. There is a chance of rain after 3 p.m. with a high near 47 degrees, but temperatures will drop overnight to 30. New snow accumulation of less than 1 inch is possible with rain and snow starting before 4 a.m.
