Nadala si Liezl Sicangco sa usapan ng anak niyang si Kylie Padilla at ama nitong si Robin Padilla.

Nagkaroon ng heart-to-heart talk sina Kylie at Robin sa YouTube channel ng aktres noong Sabado, November 27, 2021. Pinamagatan ito ni Kylie ng “The conversation I never had with my Papa.”

Sa interview, sinariwa ng mag-am ang kanilang relasyon mula sa pagkabata ni Kylie—kasama ang mga kapatid—hanggang sa kasalukuyan.

Bakas sa pag-uusap ng nina Kylie at Robin ang malalim nilang ugnayan bilang mag-ama.

Nag-post pa si Kylie sa Instagram para i-promote ang video interview niya kasama ang ama.

Maraming netizens ang nagkomentong nasiyahan sila at natuwa sa interview ng mag-ama.

Isa sa mga nagkomento si Liezl.

Naantig daw si Liezel sa pag-uusap ng mag-ama. May pagkakataong napag-usapan nina Robin at Kylie si Liezel at ang kanilang pamilya.

Komento ni Liezl kay Kylie: “OMGee! Natawa ako at naiyak. Good job [double hearts emojis]”

Sumagot si Kylie sa ina: “i love you mother dearrrr”

Reply ni Liezl sa anak: “I love you more [kiss with heart and rose emojis]”

Si Kylie ay isa sa apat na anak ng dating mag-asawa na sina Liezl at Robin. Ang tatlo pa ay sina Queenie, Zhen-Zhen, at Ali.

Isinilang ni Liezl ang panganay nila ni Robin na si Queenie noong 1991.

Pero noong 1996 lamang sila ikinasal nang nasa New Bilibid Prison si Robin.

Nakulong si Robin noong 1994 dahil sa kasong illegal possession of firearms at nasentensiyahan ng walong taong pagkakakulong.

Pero nakalaya siya matapos ang apat na taon dahil nabigyan siya ng conditional pardon ni dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos.

ROBIN’S LIFE WITH LIEZL AND THEIR KIDS

Sa interview ni Kylie, inamin ni Robin—dating tinaguriang Bad Boy of Philippine showbiz—na turning point sa buhay niya nang magkapamilya na siya.

Pagbabahagi ni Robin kay Kylie, “Nung dumating na kayo, nari-realize ko, ‘Aba, hindi ako puwedeng mautas ngayon. Hindi ako puwedeng mawala ngayon kasi papano ‘tong mga batang iyon?’

“At nung time naman na iyon na, nagde-decide na akong mag-lay low.”

Nakulong man si Robin noong 1994, naging desidido raw siyang ayusin ang kanyang buhay para sa pamilya.

“Kaya yun, very timely talaga iyon. Yung pagkakakulong ko, very timely para sa mama mo din,” sabi ng action star.

Sa katunayan daw, ayon kay Robin, may mahalagang papel sa pagsasama nila ni Liezl ang kanyang pagkakakulong.  

“Yun siguro yung best days namin, e, yung nakakulong ako. Kaya answered prayer iyon.

“Dun din kami nagpakasal ng mama mo. Nung dumating kayo sa buhay namin.

“Kasi kahit mama mo noon, gangster din. Alam naman niya iyon!” natatawang sabi ni Robin.

Hirit pa niya, “Ngayon naman, lumalabas pa rin pagka-gangster ng mama mo.”

Sinegundahan ito ni Kylie, “Yes, I know. Lumalabas talaga.”

Gayunpaman, binanggit ni Kylie na malaking impluwensiya ang “unconventional” na pagpapalaki sa kanya ng ama.

Ngayong isa na ring magulang si Kylie, mas nauunawaan daw niya ngayon ang pinagdaanan ng kanyang ama at ina noon.

Sinabi rin ni Kylie na may mga paraan si Robin ang nais niyang gayahin sa pagpapalaki ng kanyang mga anak.

Dalawang lalaki ang mga anak ni Kylie sa estranged husband na si Aljur Abrenica—sina Alas, 3, at Axl, 1.
