Nach hervorragenden Leistungen an den Kantonalfinals zeigten die jungen Sprinterinnen und Sprinter am Schweizer Final in Neuhaus erneut ihr Können. Unter den 390 Startenden waren auch zwei Mitglieder des Turnvereins Unterseen (TVU): Lea Studer und Jan Hausheer.

Mit neuer persönlicher Bestleistung von 10,15 Sekunden über 80 Meter holte sich Lea Studer die Silbermedaille. Nur Jil Sanchez (TSV Steinen; 10,13 Sekunden) war bei den Mädchen mit Jahrgang 2007 noch schneller. Jan Hausheer reichte es mit 10,11 Sekunden über 80 Meter auf den 14. Schlussrang. Jan ist somit der schnellste Berner Oberländer mit Jahrgang 2007. Den Sieg holte Akira Eghagha vom FSG Bernex-Confignon mit 9,28 Sekunden.
