Lan Ha bay among stunning global images by Belgian traveler

An image showcasing Lan Ha bay in Quang Ninh province features among a collection of stunning global images taken from above by Belgian photographer Johan Vandenhecke.

Belgian photographer Vandenhecke went on a tour of Southeast Asia two years ago and has since begun to upload some of the photos captured during his trip to his Instagram page which now has over 20,000 followers. In order to get this amazing shot of Lan Ha bay he had to take his drone to the 'maximum height'.

A shot shows the enchanting islands of Komodo National Park in Indonesia, an area which can be described as 'paradise on earth'.

A stunning image of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park in East Java, Indonesia, a location that is home to several huge volcanoes.

An image of jaw-dropping Kawah Ljen volcano, which Vandenhecke describes as 'the absolute highlight' of his East Java trip.

A mesmerising view of the ancient city of Bagan, a UNESCO-listed heritage site located in Myanmar that is home to thousands of pagodas and stupas, a type of stone-laced burial mound.

In this amazing shot taken in Colombia, viewers can see the 10-million-tonne El Peñon de Guatape rock in the background, a site that features a stone staircase embedded into a large crevice.
