Three Dutch murder suspects accused of tying up and gagging a legal executive while stabbing her son to death to face trial

Three alleged Dutch killers accused of tying up and gagging a legal executive while they stabbed her son to death will stand trial in April.

Riches Obi, 25, was found slumped on the floor by the front door with slash and stab wounds to his chest in a flat in Elephant and Castle in south London on November 17, 2020.

His mother Bernadette Ortet was found tied up with a scarf around her neck in a bedroom.

Dutch nationals Suvenca Martis, 33, Raichell Felomina, 39, and Jurick Croes, 38, deny murdering Mr Obi and false imprisonment of Ms Ortet.

Martis is female while the other two are male.

Ms Ortet worked as a case worker for Obadiah Rose Solicitors, a firm specialising in immigration and nationality.

Mr Obi had completed an apprenticeship with Porsche and was also studying sports science at university.

Martis, of Sydenham, southeast London, along with Felomina and Cross, both of no fixed address, all deny murder and false imprisonment.

Martis further denies perverting the course of justice.

They will stand trial at the Old Bailey on April 2.
