The fire broke out in the ceiling of the immigration counter according to reports and what that meant is the lounge was filled with smoke and it prompted evacuation of passengers. Well as we have reported there is this massive fire which is believed to have initiated to some short circuit and now the fire has damaged the immigration system leading to flight disruptions. The investigation is still on. We could see the smoke and the the fire all across the airport and this is one of the busiest International Airport of Lahore. And at such point when the Hajj after image travel is also happening, the flight disruption has created a lot of chaos. The more details as to what led to this fire is it still to come out from the official sources. But we do know as of now that the Allahar Airport has got a fire which is believed to be coming from a short circuit and which has affected the entire immigration system, disrupting several flights which were supposed to take off from the airport. Well so far there is too early to pinpoint exactly what led to this fire but the initial reports have suggested that there was some some some short circuits which might have caused this massive fire and the damage at the airport. And according to rescue officials, the fire started early in the morning and since then they have been at the spot trying to douse the fire and ensure that all the flight, all the ongoing operation are resumed. And the the the fire which started around 5:15 in the morning that was that was reported as a fire alarm went off. And as a result of the fire several flights operating from the city including the hush flights were delayed and the International Airport Dalai Lama, Iqbal International Airport has been for now suspending a lot of incoming and outgoing operations. The entire immigration service portal has been damaged and that is one of the reasons why these these flights have been stopped from taking off. Well, so far there has not been any injury that has been reported because as soon as the information of the fire went out, the fire brigade arrived at the scene and started executing the fire. While the inner building of the Lahar airport was evacuated. During the incident, the Hutch flight TK717 from Lahore to Medina that was also delayed due to the fire and some of the eyewitnesses have also said that pilgrims were asked to leave The airport launched due to malfunctioning of the immigration system and due to the far domestic and international flights from the Lahore Alama Iqbal airport was delayed. But three flights were also allowed to land at the airport around 8:00 AM.
