Nicki Minaj announces Dublin concert

Queen of Hip-Hop, Nicki Minaj, has unveiled plans for a show in Dublin this summer as part of her global extravaganza, titled ‘Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour.’

Fans have been eagerly awaiting her return to the stage with headline arena performances in North America and Europe, including featured appearances at prominent festivals like Rolling Loud California and Dreamville Festival.

Nicki Minaj secured her position as ‘the first woman to score 100 Billboard Hot 100 Hits,’ boasting an impressive 133 total entries to date, the highest among female hip-hop artists. Her track ‘Super Bass’ achieved over 1 billion YouTube views.

Minaj has also earned the distinction of being ‘the first female rapper to cross the 1 billion-mark with multiple solo track’ and holds the record for ‘the most videos with over 1 billion views for any female artist,’ with nine such videos to her name.

Minaj’s monumental rise traces back to her groundbreaking debut album, Pink Friday, in 2010, which sold over 375,000 copies in its first week, marking the largest sales week for a female hip-hop artist since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

Ticket for the concert which takes place in Malahide Castle on Saturday 6th July start at €89.90, inclusive of booking fees, and will be available to buy Friday March 1st at 9 am.
