Korean Girl Group NATURE Announces Disbandment After 6 Years

Korean Girl Group NATURE were in the headlines for their sudden inactivity since last year. However, member Haru recently shocked her fans after it was revealed that she has become hostess in an adult entertainment establishment in Japan. As per Allkpop, she introduced herself as Sakura Ruru. The revelation that a K-Pop idol was working as a hostess shocked many. Following this, NATURE’s agency, n.CH Entertainment, dropped another bombshell. They confirmed the disbandment of the group, which included members Lu, Sohee, Aurora, Saebom, Chaebin, Loha, Uchae and Sunshine. Among all the members, Sohee will continue making music and take acting projects under the same agency.

As per Soompi, the agency stated, “First, we would like to thank all the fans who supported NATURE while giving them their endless love and interest. We would like to make an official announcement regarding NATURE’s group activities. NATURE, who has received love from their fans while working hard for the past several years following their debut, is ending all official activities as a group. We would like to sincerely apologize for having to convey this news to the many fans who have been waiting for NATURE’s return. After lengthy consideration and in-depth discussions with the members about their future activities and the possibility of promotions, it was decided that the group’s activities would come to an end and the members would go their separate ways in the future.”

“Although the group’s activities have come to an end, member Sohee will remain with our agency and continue to pursue various solo activities in the future, including music and acting. NATURE made their grand debut in 2018 and delighted fans with numerous hit tracks. However, their journey took a turn following the release of their third mini album, NATURE WORLD: CODE W, in November 2022, as they went into hiatus. Despite this unexpected break, Haru, Lu, Sohee, Aurora, Saebom, Chaebin, Loha, Uchae and Sunshine made a comeback in June 2023 with the single Fly High for the drama Sound Candy. Despite their return, many speculated that the group might be in a disbandment process.

Recently, Haru’s viral video fueled the fire and now, fans’ worst fears were confirmed when NATURE’s agency, n.CH Entertainment, announced the group’s separation after being together and making music for six years. This heartbreaking news has left fans devastated.
