The last time New York Yankees star Aaron Judge was spotted at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game he was a free agent and any move he made was a signal about his future.
This time, he is locked in long-term as the most important Yankee, but he’s still repping the same NFL team: the Buccaneers.

On Monday night’s NFC wild-card game between Tampa Bay and the Philadelphia Eagles at Raymond James Stadium, Judge was shown in a long-sleeved orange Bucs shirt. Behind him in one photo walking into the stadium was a friend, Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres, who was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and a backward hat.
The ESPN broadcast showed Judge in a suite early in the first quarter, laughing — not sure if that was at the Eagles’ defense (it was 10-0 Bucs at the time) or because of a friend’s joke (maybe both).
Judge wore a No. 13 Mike Evans jersey to the Bucs’ game against the New Orleans Saints on Dec. 5, 2022, when he also chatted with former quarterback Tom Brady, who asked Judge if he wanted to play tight end.
Judge set the AL home run record with 62 on Oct. 5, 2022, and Evans supported him by wearing his jersey after a win against the Falcons.
“Shoutout my boy Aaron Judge,” Evans said at the time.
The Yankees’ spring training complex, George M. Steinbrenner Field, is next to Raymond James Stadium.
