Tom Brady names next NFL quarterback to win Super Bowl for first time
Seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady says Josh Allen is the next NFL quarterback who will win the Super Bowl for the first time in his career.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have been a regular feature in the NFL playoffs in recent years, but have not reached a Super Bowl during Allen’s time at quarterback.
The Bills have lost in the divisional round of the playoffs in the last three seasons, and reached the AFC Championship match the campaign before that.
Three of those four losses have come against the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, while the other was against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Speaking on the DeepCutPodcast, Brady backed Allen to be the next quarterback to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy for the first time.
“I like Josh Allen a lot, as a guy, as a leader,” said Brady.
“I’d take Josh, but he has to get past the Chiefs and that’s hard because Patrick is incredible in the way he leads that team.”
