The 2024 SAG Awards are rolling out a star-studded lineup of presenters for this year’s awards ceremony.
On Wednesday, SAG-AFTRA announced a list of 30 presenters for the upcoming ceremony that includes Jennifer Aniston, Idris Elba, Jessica Chastain, Erika Alexander and Emily Blunt, among others. Elba, 51, is expected to open Saturday’s ceremony, while Aniston, 55, is slated to honor Barbra Streisand with the SAG Life Achievement Award.
Many of last year’s most popular and widely acclaimed movies and television series are represented among the night’s presenters; Blunt’s Oppenheimer costars Robert Downey Jr. and Cillian Murphy, Barbie’s Margot Robbie, Michael Cera, Issa Rae and America Ferrera and American Fiction’s Sterling K. Brown, Tracee Ellis Ross and Jeffrey Wright, among others, are also scheduled to present Saturday.

SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher is also lined up to present at the annual awards ceremony, which comes months after Drescher, 66, led the guild as it went on strike between July and November of 2023.
Other actors SAG-AFTRA announced as presenters Wednesday include The Color Purple’s Danielle Brooks, Taraji P. Henson and Colman Domingo (who is nominated for his performance in Rustin), Brendan Fraser, Melissa McCarthy, Billie Eilish, Greta Lee, Troy Kotsur, Glen Powell, Storm Reid, Alexander Skarsgård, Omar Sy and Naomi Watts. More presenters are still yet to be announced, according to a press release.

Categories at the SAG Awards are voted on by SAG-AFTRA’s membership of more than 119,000 actors. According to a press release, the SAG Awards have the “largest voting body” of any major award show.
Last year’s big winners included Everything Everywhere All at Once, which swept nearly all the film categories, picking up statuettes for its ensemble, lead actress Michelle Yeoh, supporting actor Ke Huy Quan and supporting actress Jamie Lee Curtis. The Whale’s Brendan Fraser was named the year’s best lead actor, while The White Lotus’s second season picked up two statuettes and Abbott Elementary won outstanding comedy ensemble.
