KBC 13 Episode 21 Written Update: Amitabh Bachchan sings Rang Barse on stage

Big B also recited a poem from Agneepath.

The 21st episode of kan Banega Crorepati 13 on September 20 began with a special initiative called Asha Abhilasha where Amitabh Bachchan was seen fulfilling the wishes of the contestants and the live audience. Pankaj Kumar Singh, a student from Chhatisgarh, won the Fastest Fingers First Triple Test and took the hot seat. The 30-year-old contestant suffers from a rare spinal disease called Juvenile Ankylosing Spondylitis. He took home Rs 12.5 lakh as prize money.


This week of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 will be a special one for the audience. As part of the Asha Abhilasha initiative, the contestants’ or the audiences’ wishes will be Amitabh Bachchan’s command. Introducing the initiative of fulfilling everyone’s heart’s desire, Big B said, “This week is dedicated to this precious happiness on Kaun Banega Crorepati. We have named this event Asha Abhilasha. Asha Abhilasha is an effort to fulfil anyone’s wish – the studio audience, the contestants and or the viewers!”

Putting the initiative into effect, contestant Pankaj Kumar Singh requested Big B to assure his parents that they won’t worry about him, take care of themselves as he will do the same for himself and make them proud. Pankaj is also a huge fan of Genelia D’Souza. A surprise video call with Genelia left Pankaj Kumar Singh blushing as he couldn’t believe his luck that he was talking to her. He said, “All my dreams are getting fulfilled today! There is nothing more to achieve in my life now!”

Anjali, from Make A Wish Foundation India, wished to meet Amitabh Bachchan and her wish was fulfilled on the show as well. Anjali was also the lucky girl who got to ask Big B about his childhood, turning into an ace interviewer. In the end, she was gifted with a hamper from the host. Big B sang Rang Barse and also recited the poem Agneepath.

Contestant Oshin Patwa, a social media influencer, asked Big B questions about his social media persona. Pranshu Tripathi, another player and a diehard fan of cricketer Rohit Sharma was also given a chance for a tete-a-tete with the cricketer.


Amitabh Bachchan also turned into desi Santa Claus for Bollywood superstar Jackie Shroff who came to the show with the celebrated actor Suniel Shetty. Tipping his hat to the initiative, Jackie dada asked if he could match steps with Big B on his iconic song Jumma Jumma. In the end, Jackie Shroff was also gifted with Amitabh Bachchan’s own bow tie.


Speaking about his condition, Pankaj Kumar Singh revealed that he has been facing his problem since he was in class 8 and the condition became severe when he was in class 12. His main aim to come to KBC 13 was to earn respect and win an amount so that he doesn’t have to take money from anyone in the future. He shared that he will have to live with his condition lifelong and will have to consume medicines forever.

Pankaj took home Rs 12.5 lakh as prize money. After Pankaj, took the hot seat. She is a social media influencer. However, before she could start playing the episode came to an end.
