Luciano Benavides was second in the Stage 7: ‘It was a hard day; I made some changes to my settings and did well despite some mistakes’
Last year’s winner of the Dakar, Luciano Benavides is a bit far from the lead of the competition but still he was able to be the second fastest today, in the competition. On the 7th day of the event, the argentinian confessed it was a complicated day, were he ‘made some mistakes’.
Here is the rider’s review of the day, after finishing 3m12s after the winner, Nacho Cornejo:
– Yeah, it was a really hard stage. Today, I made some changes to my bike, to my settings, and I feel better. I think I did well even though I made some mistakes at the beginning of the stage. I think my rhythm in general was quite okay, so I’m happy.
