They’re all dancing and we are hopeful that all this energy will translate into something very good for us. About 11:50 seats is what we are hoping for. If it is better, even better. But the spirits dampened terribly by the assembly election results. But Hamari Haritni Puri Naidhi Amlodite 39 out of 119 and also we lost 14 seats by a whisker. And the March difference also is marginal. So we are hoping that this time it will be better KTR. What’s the BRSS pitch in the Lok Sabha election that is largely seen as a BJP versus Congress battle. Where does your third front fit in? Well, that is only by the national media which believes that this country is bipolar. The people don’t seem to think so as the BRS recovered from the assembly election results. What’s your pitch? I see there’s some support and George here, but outside your core base, what’s your pitch to the people of Telangana? Well, its plain and simple. We believe that if we are able to win 11:50, then we should be able to be in a very decisive and in a very important role in Delhi. So given how strong the BJP is, given that the Congress has a state government over here, how are you hoping to attract voters to the BRS? 10 years of abysmal performance by Prime Minister Modi gives them no hope here. Likewise, the Congress government here in the last five months has been a big let down because they’ve made, they’ve promised the moon and unfortunately they have not been able to deliver. I heard during the speech that you made before this, you mentioned the fact that your sister is currently in jail. The Supreme Court denied a bail. I heard the Enforcement Directorate said they’ll be filing a supplementary charge sheet like they’ll be have more charges against that case. Doesn’t seem to be going well at all. The liquor case, well the case is there’s no case at all. Its a fabricated case. Well the most corrupt, most inept and most inefficient Prime Minister of independent India is Prime Minister Modi. I think the whole world knows it and if he doesn’t want to accept it, its his problem. But the fact is this government has not done much in terms of delivery to the people. They have nothing but political rhetoric and invoking primordial emotions by the people. So therefore we believe that we stand a very good chance in the Parliament elections. Do you think changing the name of the TRS to BRS was a mistake in hindsight because the party lost its Telangana core identity and you didn’t really do much as far as the Bharatiya plan was concerned, Absolutely not. In fact as a party we wanted to grow beyond our borders. We were trying our luck but unfortunately we lost our home base. So now it is time to go back and you know recoup at home and then possibly look beyond. But for now I think its Telangana is our focus and will continue to remain steadfast on this. Tell our viewers what is that crane? The crane has, are you supposed to get garlanded by that? Supposed to be. But now that the rain is caused havoc, I think its all gone for a toss. You know the opposition was saying KTR will go to the United States, he will go back to his business. Are you here in local Telangana politics? Are you wanting to go back to the US where we will wait and see who goes where after the 4th of June? Because the day is not far. The day of reckoning is not far 4th of June. I think the people of Telangana will decide the fate of Congress, BRS and BJP in Telangana. How is the Revanth Reddy government doing in Telangana? He emerged. He was part of your party earlier. You are constantly attacking him. He seems to have become a larger than life figure in very little time. Absolutely. Some some stories are short lived. Wait and watch. What stories? Some stories are short lived like I said. So you have to wait and watch. Till June 4th. Its nice to sip on some garma garam Chai after getting drenched in the rain. KJ, that was quite a show you put up out there in the rain. I thought people would just start dissipating and running away. But you somehow kept them together with the confetti and the music and your energy. Well no actually they’ve been waiting for three hours. Unfortunately the rain did play havoc. There were a lot more people, but I’m really, really touched by, you know, the show of strength, the show of affection, love that they had truly touched. What we could do merely is basically thank them and ask them to vote for us. But The thing is that we are currently in and around Hyderabad, right? This is Secunderabad constituency and this is where the BRS did well even in the assembly election. Job problems are in rural Telangana where there seems to have been once again, like was the case with Chandrababu Naidu, connect with the urban areas. But a disconnect in the rural areas, not so much. In fact, if you look at the numbers, Rahul, the difference was hardly anything. It was 1.8%, which roughly translates to 4,22,000 votes between the winning party and the party which ended up being runner up. So therefore the difference is not so much. In fact, what I would sincerely believe. What I do sincerely believe is that I think there’s a lot of realization and repentance among people, you know, for having believed in Congress. Tall promises for, you know, basically falling prey to their, you know, ridiculous kind of guarantees that they’ve, you know, delivered to every doorstep. But in the past few months, Revanth Reddy seems to have captured public imagination given the fact that he was one of the leaders in your party from there to now become the primary focus in this Lok Sabha election. Its all, its as much about Modi as it is about Revanth Reddys ability to land Telangana for the Well, I think this is the litmus test. I mean he’s just become the chief minister five months ago. Let me not be bitter about him. I think. Let me just say that this is the litmus test for him as the Chief minister. This is the first real test he faces. So whether or not he has done well, I think people will have to say whether he’s become a larger than life image, whether he has earned larger than life image or not. I think people will say your party now has the Bharatiya name instead of the Telangana name. What’s your sense of the Pan India, Bharatiya picture? How are you seeing this looks? Well, this Lok Sabha seems to be a very, I think, a divided kind of house. If you look at various states across India, one can basically tell by the desperation in Prime Minister Stone that his party is not doing as well as he was hoping for. You know, the whole AAP Ki bar Char Sopar. I think people have realized that Char Sopar is going to be petrol and diesel rates and not really BJP seats in Parliament. So therefore, I think they can see through the time. Do you think the prime ministers desperate? He’s sounding quite confident. He’s projecting that he’s coming back to power ministries, are planning what they’ll do in the first. There’s a lot of difference, Rahul, and posturing. And also actually, you know, when when you speak and when you start making these jihadist speeches, when you start invoking how Muslims have more children and how inheritance. Well, you have to hear his speeches. You have to see the tone. The tenor sounds really desperate for a for a man who’s governed the country for 10 years, for a man who’s run one of the large states in India for three terms sounds really this BJP is hoping to emerge as the number one party in Telangana this year, at least double. They can hope against hope. But the factors BJP has done diddly squat for Telangana. Not a single Medical College. Not a single educational institution. Not a single rupee when Hyderabad was flooded. Not a single rupee for metro expansion in Hyderabad. Not a single national project status, you know, has been confident on on any of our irrigation projects. I can go on. The list is endless. They have basically been extremely partial and they have been nothing but a stepmother for Telangana. The Prime Minister time and again has insulted Telangana and its formation in the last 10 years. He has done deadly squat. Therefore, they have no reason. They have nothing to say. In fact, when it comes to seeking a vote in Telangana. So the Telugu, there’s some party in Andhra Pradesh tied up with the BJP. The Janta Dal, secular in Karnataka, tied up with the BJP. What about the BRS tying up with the BJP? Because the Prime Minister alluded to KCR wanting to tie up with the BJP. The Prime Minister says a lot of things. He’s a very imaginative man. There are a lot of figments of his imagination which have not come true, such as kala dhan vapis Lange mujhe chowra hai PE jala do Agar pachas din me, kardunga, mahar kisi go ghardila dunga bullet rail, Dhada dunga Panchalian economy, Kardunga ka shuru karun ka and karu kisan Ki amdani double kardunga. None of this became true. Today the man has nothing to stand on, a lean on unfortunately. 10 years of abysmal governance. 10 years of governance which has resulted in the highest inflation in 40 years, highest unemployment in 30 years, lowest rupee value ever. Nothing to boast about South. All you have to do is basically come out with imaginative hypothesis and imaginative theories. Your sister spent a lot, a lot of time in incarceration. Now how is that playing out within the family? You’ve been constantly trying for bail. The Ed is talking about supplementary charge sheets and more evidence that’s claimed to have found in the liquor. Every single person in Telangana and the country understands that. Is there something when you look back that you, your father, the party, the family could have done differently which would have ensured that you probably had one more shot? Rahul, let me no, no Rahul, let me tell you one thing, I think life is way too short to have any regrets. Firstly. Secondly, I think people have given us two chances, two terms. If you ask for more and more. I think its greed. I think they also need to look at a donkey to understand the value of a horse. Kabhi ka Akbar roshni Ki Agar rahmiyat samajna ho to aapko.
