The Michigan football family got some bad news this week.
Last summer, the Wolverines lost former quarterback Ryan Mallett to a drowning incident, and now another former player has passed away too young.
Craig Roh, a Scottsville, Arizona native who chose to spend his college career in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan, has sadly passed away from stage IV colon cancer. The former Wolverines defensive end kept the illness quiet and his wife took over his X (formerly Twitter) account to share the news. He was 33 years old.
A bright spot in a dark spot in program history, Roh played defensive end for the maize and blue from 2009-2012.

After a short NFL and CFL career, Roh had transitioned into a role where he was helping young athletes with technique and even wrote a book on block destruction while also forming a defensive end academy.
