Smartwatch aficionados should check out Oppo’s latest smartwatch – the Oppo Watch X. This Wear OS device is packed full of features and sensors, while still keeping itself sleek and thin. Oppo managed to combine premium looks and design, with state-of-the-art functions that make it a compelling smartwatch to own.

Oppo Watch X features a long 100-hours battery life
The new Oppo Watch X will be available from xxx(date) and is available in one size – a 42mm watch face. There are two colours to choose from – Platinum Black and Mars Brown with the band made out of a rubber material.
For those wanting to pick the watch up, the watch will be priced at RM1,399 and will be available from the official OPPO website, Shopee and Lazada.
Oppo is running a promotion for the launch where early purchasers can enjoy a RM100 rebate and an additional strap for just RM1.
Oppo Watch X Features
The new Oppo Watch X is the company’s latest smartwatch to reach our shores. The last Oppo Watch that we saw in our studios was the original Oppo Watch, launched way back in 2020. The new watch is now circular, instead of a square screen – but there is one side of the watch that is flat. This is where the action button and the control crown live. Oppo says this design is so that the …
Inside the watch is the new Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC. Oppo also included a second chip (model number BES2700) to regulate the power, and the dual-chip design delivers some impressive battery life for a Wear OS wearable. The second chip will take on as frequent tasks as possible, such as answering phone calls and displaying notifications, while the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 is activated to handle high-performance operations and Wear OS apps. Oppo claims the watch can last up to 100 hours on a single charge on the large (for a smartwatch) 500mAh battery.
When power needs to be topped up, Oppo’s VOOC fast charging tech delivers power at lightning speeds via the magnetic charging dock. 10 minutes of charge gives the watch 24 hours of usage, while a 60-minute charge gives it 100% battery. With the Power Saver Mode, the battery life can be extended to 12 days. Mind you this is with sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring and other daily activities still running as usual.
The screen is a 1.43-inch display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution with a claimed peak brightness of 1,000 nits covered with a 2.5D sapphire crystal cover that resists scratches. Oppo is proud to promote that the Watch X is IP68 certified as well as passing the MIL-STD-810H environmental testing. The watch was tested to perform in temperatures as low as -20°C to +55°C. It can withstand water pressure up to 5ATM (roughly the pressure of about 50 meters underwater) so it can be used during water excursions without any problems.
Included with the watch are multiple sports mode settings – ranging from running to even badminton. There’s a heart rate sensor that can measure the heart rate and blood oxygen levels. Unfortunately, there is no EKG or blood pressure monitoring with the watch.
For colours, the watch will be available in Platinum Black and Mars Brown in one watchface size – 47mm. The watch band is made out of fluoro rubber and is easily replaceable with any third-party watch straps. The watch also features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and GPS – no LTE here, unfortunately. On board, there is 32GB of storage for apps and files.
