Der Schweizer Stellenmarkt läuft weiterhin auf hohen Touren. Das Wachstum der Wirtschaft verschärft dabei den Fachkräftemangel.

Auch 2022 dürfte der Stellenmarkt weiter wachsen, schreibt der international tätige Stellenvermittler Michael Page in einer am Donnerstag veröffentlichten Studie. Im vergangenen Jahr stieg die Zahl der ausgeschriebenen Stellen laut den Angaben um 39 Prozent.

Am stärksten war das Wachstum in den Bereichen IT-Clouds mit einem Plus von 195 Prozent, Procurement und Supply Chain (etwa Beschaffungswesen und Logistik) mit einem Plus von 55 Prozent sowie Healthcare und Life Sciences (Gesundheitswesen und Biowissenschaften) mit einem Plus von 39 Prozent. Dabei hätten der Fachkräftemangel, die Einschränkungen wegen Budgets und die steigende Nachfrage von Bewerberinnen und Bewerben nach flexiblen Arbeitsbedingungen zu einem Anstieg der ausgeschriebenen Temporärstellen um 42 Prozent geführt.

Trotz des wirtschaftlichen Aufschwungs und des Fachkräftemangels sei die Mehrheit der Löhne stabil geblieben. Am besten bezahlt werden gemäss Michael Page Führungskräfte im Bank- und Finanzwesen sowie im Gesundheitssektor. Am meisten verdienen demnach der Head Private Banking (Durchschnittslohn 340’000 Franken), Chief Medical Officer/Gesundheitswesen (260’000 Franken), Chief Investment Officer (320’000 Franken), Senior Vice President/Personalchef (370’000 Franken) und Finanzchef (360’000 Franken). Der durchschnittliche Bonus beträgt zudem zwischen 70 und 20 Prozent des Gehalts.

Flexible Arbeitsmöglichkeiten, Weiterbildung – das fordern die Bewerber von den Chefs

Unternehmen stünden wegen des Arbeitsmarktwachstums vor immer grössere Herausforderungen bei der Rekrutierung. Firmen, die flexible Arbeitsmöglichkeiten anbieten wie Home Office, eine hybride Arbeitsumgebung sowie die Möglichkeit, auf Stundenbasis oder als Freelancer zu arbeiten, könnten die besten Kandidatinnen und Kandidaten anziehen. Dies zeige eine Befragung, die bei 22’300 Bewerberinnen und Bewerbern in der Schweiz durchgeführt wurde. Weitere wichtige Faktoren seien die Vereinbarkeit von Berufs- und Privatleben und die Möglichkeit, mit einem inspirierenden Management zusammenzuarbeiten.

Die Studie zeige ausserdem, wie auch andere internationale Studien, dass Fortbildungs- und Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten zu den wichtigsten Faktoren gehörten, um Bewerberinnen und Bewerber anzuziehen, schreibt Michael Page. «Das kann heissen, dass man Mitarbeitenden ein flexibles Arbeitsumfeld, authentische Gespräche über die Karriereplanung oder Aus- und Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten bietet», sagt Yannick Coulange, Geschäftsführer der Page Group Schweiz.

Leider spreche weniger als die Hälfte der Führungskräfte (39 Prozent) mit ihren Mitarbeitenden über Fortbildungsmöglichkeiten. Daher entgingen den Unternehmen möglicherweise Spitzenkandidaten.

Ausländer aus Drittstaaten, Individualbesteuerung, Integration von Müttern und Älteren – das fordert der Arbeitgeberverband

Dass sich der Aufschwung der Wirtschaft im vergangenen Jahr positiv auf den Arbeitsmarkt auswirkt, findet auch der Schweizerische Arbeitgeberverband (SAV). Dank dem wirtschaftlichen Aufschwung sei die Beschäftigung bereits im dritten Quartal 2021 wieder auf dem Vorkrisenniveau gelegen und die Kurzarbeit habe in den Branchen mehrheitlich abgebaut werden können, heisst es in einer SAV-Mitteilung vom Donnerstag. Eine überwiegende Mehrheit der zum SAV-Beschäftigungsbarometer befragten Betriebe rechne zudem mit einem weiteren Ausbau der Beschäftigung in den nächsten drei Monaten.

Doch auch der SAV kommt zum Schluss, dass der rasche wirtschaftliche Aufschwung und damit einhergehend der steigende Bedarf an Arbeitskräften die Betriebe gleichzeitig vor die Herausforderung stelle, passendes Personal zu finden. Die Gründe für den Engpass seien dabei vielschichtig, sie würden aber durch die Corona-Krise noch verschärft.

Zum einen hätten sich gewisse Arbeitskräfte während der Pandemie neu orientiert, schreibt der Verband. Andererseits hätten sich auch die zur Besetzung einer Stelle erforderlichen Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten während der Krise verändert.

Der Wirtschaftsverband stellt nun auch Forderungen an Politik und Verwaltung zur Entschärfung des zunehmenden Arbeitskräftemangels. Kurzfristig verlangt er die Liberalisierung der Zulassungskriterien für Drittstaatenangehörige. Mittelfristig müsse zudem die Individualbesteuerung eingeführt werden. Zum anderen sei das inländische Arbeitskräftepotenzial besser auszuschöpfen, indem Mütter und ältere Arbeitnehmer besser in den Arbeitsmarkt integriert werden.
