Jeremy Clarkson's Irish girlfriend Lisa Hogan updates on future of Clarkson's Farm
Jeremy Clarkson ‘s long-term partner Lisa Hogan shared her thoughts on the future of Clarkson’s Farm ahead of the docuseries returning for its third season later this week.
The Prime Video show, which debuted in 2021, follows the couple on the Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire. The new season is set to launch on the streaming platform in the coming days, with the additional episodes due next week.
Ahead of the new season, Lisa, 51, spoke about the future. Asked how long she would like to continue making the show, she said: “As long as it’s educating people, and showing people how difficult farming is, and it’s helping people appreciate food in a way that they may not have before.”
She went on to tease about the potential for the show to influence viewers. Lisa said: “Maybe people will pop their bread in the freezer instead of throwing it out when they see how much work goes into making a loaf of bread.”
It has previously been reported that Clarkson’s Farm has been renewed for a fourth season already. A release date has yet to be unveiled but filming was understood to have been underway earlier this year, as reported by the Express.
The third season’s launch comes after it was announced last week that the Diddly Squat Farm Shop would be closed for a day. The news was shared on Instagram as an “important announcement” and some fans expressed disappointment.
The post in question revealed to fans that the farm shop would be closed last Wednesday, but reopen the following day. It read: “We will be closed this Wednesday, reopening as usual on Thursday. Really sorry for any inconvenience.”

There was reaction in the comments section, with some followers sharing disappointment over the news. One person said: “Oh no. Was planning on bringing my husband down for a birthday farm visit.” Lisa apologised to the fan in question, writing in a reply to their comment: “So sorry.”
Another person wrote on the platform last week: “That makes me sad. I love DIDDLY.” Lisa however reassured that the shop would only be closed for a day, with her having taken the opportunity to respond: “It’s just a day.”
A synopsis for the new season teases: “Diddly Squat [is] facing some seriously daunting challenges. The crops are failing in the severe hot weather, inflation has driven prices of supplies sky high, dreams for the beloved restaurant are dashed and now the farm shop also faces closure.”
It further states: “Jeremy urgently needs to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet, so hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land – thick woodland and hedgerows that make up half of Diddly Squat. This triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes, involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles and deer.”
“Someone new arrives to Diddly Squat, which puts Kaleb’s nose out of joint – as well as the returning characters all working to help Jeremy’s farming ambitions come to fruition,” the synopsis for the docuseries continues.
The third season of Clarkson’s Farm launches globally on Prime Video later this week. The first four episodes will be available from Friday (May 3), whilst the remaining four episodes will be released a week later on May 10.
