The first major WWE Premium Live Event is scheduled to get underway this weekend with Royal Rumble.

The main match will see 30 stars within the promotion go head-to-head, kicking off with two superstars squaring off in the ring, with new contenders entering at 90 second intervals, until all 30 have arrived. Whoever is tossed over the top rope, with both feet making contact with the floor, is disqualified from the match.

The last standing star will win the chance to headline WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk are among several key stars who will take part in the men’s showdown, while Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will feature on the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Several key stars, including CM Punk, will feature in Florida this weekend

When is it?

The 37th annual Royal Rumble is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 27.

It will be held at Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, Florida.

This weekend’s action is scheduled to get underway at midnight in the United Kingdom.

How to watch

Fans will be able to watch all of the action live on TNT Sports Box Office – with coverage scheduled to get underway at 1am on Sunday morning.

This weekend’s pay-per-view entertainment will cost UK fans £19.99.

Royal Rumble will get underway from 8pm ET and 7pm CT – for those watching in the US, while Australian fans can watch the card from 11am AEST and 10.30am ACST (Monday morning).

The event will also be streamed on the WWE Network – it costs £9.99 per month for subscribers, and can be cancelled at any time.
