Janhvi Kapoor opens up about making her south debut opposite Jr NTR in Koratala Siva’s NTR30
The makers of NTR30 had confirmed a couple of weeks ago that Janhvi Kapoor has joined RRR star Jr NTR in director Koratala Siva’s upcoming film. A saree-clad poster of Janhvi was also unveiled on social media which created a frenzy among the audience. The actress has now shared her excitement about her much-awaited south debut.
“Literally counting down the days. I message the director every day. Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I recently re-watched RRR. The magnitude of charisma that he has. To be able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life,” Janhvi said at the India Today Conclave 2023.
Janhvi said that she has been manifesting and praying every day to be working with Jr NTR and finally her dream has come true. “I manifested it. I prayed every day for it. In every interview, I used to say that I want to work with NTR sir. This film might be the first time this (approach) worked for me. I do believe that what you put in the universe is what you attract. I have learnt to be always positive and do your work. That is the moral of the story,” she added.
NTR30 will mark Jr NTR’s 30th film in his acting career. The movie went on floor in February 2023 and it is likely to release in mid-2024. The makers had also officially announced that Anirudh Ravichander, VFX guru Sreekar Prasdad, National Award-winning art director Sabu Cyril and DOP Rathnavel will be working on the project.
