Rose Byrne turned heads on Saturday as she stepped out at the 76th Directors Guild of America Awards in Beverly Hills.
The Australian actress, 44, was overjoyed to make an appearance at the star-studded event, and was spotted erupting into laughter before she took to the carpet.
Adjusting the low-cut bust of her gorgeous black gown, the star couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.
Her dazzling frock featured a sequinned bust and column skirt that fell to her ankles, revealing a pair of black strappy heels.
She accessorised with a few gold rings and earrings, and drew attention to her age-defying visage with peach-toned blush, smokey eye shadow and pink lipstick.

However, many American viewers were left confused by the Aussie star’s accent in the show.
In the comedy, which she stars alongside Seth Rogan, Rose uses her natural accent, unlike the bulk of her roles where she has starred as an American character.
After the series premiered in May, slews of viewers stateside took to Twitter to share their confusion over how the actress speaks.
