President Murmu receives new voter ID card
President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday received her new voter ID card from Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Delhi P Krishnamurthy at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
“President Droupadi Murmu received her Voter ID card from Shri P Krishnamurthy, Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi, at Rashtrapati Bhavan,” the President’s office informed through a post on ‘X’ on Tuesday.
The President will now be eligible to cast her vote in the forthcoming general election from New Delhi.
Earlier on 10 November, the Delhi CEO had paid a visit to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to facilitate the president in changing her voter ID address from Odisha to Delhi.
Krishnamurthy also apprised the President of the ongoing Special Summary Revision – 2024 and expressed his gratitude for her cooperation in the electoral process.
