It's A Girl For Sitti Navarro's 'Miracle' Baby Number Two!

People close to singer Sitti Navarro are in for a surprise after she and her non-showbiz husband Joey Ramirez confirmed they’re expecting a girl for baby number two.

That’s because they were *convinced* she was having a boy. Sitti had a pointy-shaped belly, she wasn’t as kikay, and they thought her face was more “matapang” (ICYDK, these are all based on Pinoy superstitions).

“Almost everyone in our household thought it’ll be a baby boy this time,” Sitti said in an Instagram post. “Wala akong kagana-gana mag-ayos. Hapon na ako bumabangon para maligo. Everything about my body was so much bigger this pregnancy, as in everything!”

All the signs were indicative that she was having a baby boy, even down to the ultrasound! She was so sure already she even gave away the clothes of their first child, Issiah Dañelle (also known as Lily).

Tapos on the 12th/13th-week ultrasound, we saw a lawit! So we really thought it was a boy.”

All that changed, though, when Sitti had her Congenital Anomaly Scan (CAS), where they discovered they were actually having a baby girl.

“It’s another girl Honestly, ako, basta healthy siya and umabot kami ng 37 weeks, hindi mahalaga sa ‘kin ang gender.”

“In 12 days, I’ll reach 37 weeks. Considered full-term na siya. See you soon, our second little precious one. Diyan ka muna sa loob, ha? ‘Wag masyado maging excited lumabas.

Sitti first announced in April 2021 that she and Joey were expecting another baby. Sitti called her pregnancy a “miracle” because she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APAS), two conditions that make it difficult for women to conceive. PCOS basically causes irregularities in your hormones, while APAS is an autoimmune condition that causes excessive blood clotting, miscarriages, and pregnancy complications.
