Asian Cup: Japan vs Vietnam

Vietnam face Japan, their biggest challenge at the 2024 Asian Cup group stage. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. (Hanoi time) at Al Thumama Stadium, Qatar.

Vietnam will face a mega challenge at the Al Thumama Stadium against Japan, the number one team in Asia.

Japan are having an incredible form, with 10 straight wins, 45 goals scored and only five conceded.

In this Asian Cup, they brought a star-studded squad with players like Takefusa Kubo, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Wataru Endo, with the goal of winning the title.

Meanwhile, Vietnam are in a transition period with their new coach Philippe Troussier, who led Japan to the 2000 Asian Cup title. Vietnam miss many key players in this tournament due to injuries, like goalkeeper Dang Van Lam, defenders Doan Van Hau and striker Nguyen Tien Linh.
