Italian eatery and market Eataly is set to make N.J. debut
A popular Italian gourmet eatery and shop is debuting in New Jersey.
Eataly is planning to open at The Mall at Short Hills in Millburn.
The concept is set to open by the end of 2024 although an exact date has yet to be announced.
Eataly in the Short Hills mall will replace the former Primo Mercato on the mall’s lower level near Bloomingdale’s.
The Garden State’s first Eataly location will feature restaurants, cafés, a pasta bar, meat and cheese counters, pizza and gelato.
The retail shop will offer Italian groceries and kitchen items, like tableware and cookware.
Eataly was founded in Italy in 2007 and has grown to operating nine spots nationwide: New York (three locations), Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Dallas, Silicon Valley and Las Vegas.
The gourmet eatery and market also has several international locations in Italy, Toronto, London, Paris, Munich, Stockholm, Dubai, Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait, Qatar, São Paulo, Istanbul, Japan and South Korea.
