Israel Bakal Pindahkan 1,2 Juta Warga Palestina di Rafah ke Garis Pantai Gaza

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, GAZA – Israel akan memindahkan 1,2 juta warga Palestina keluar dari Rafah ke sebidang tanah kecil yang berada di sepanjang pantai Gaza.

Rencana ini diusulkan Perdana Menteri (PM) Benyamin Netanyahu menjelang invasi besar-besaran yang akan dilakukan pasukan militer Israel ke Rafah.

Netanyahu berdalih pemindahan 1,2 juta warga Palestina dari Rafah ke tepi Pantai Gaza bisa menekan lonjakan korban jiwa akibat pertempuran berdarah antara Hamas dan IDF.

“Israel berencana untuk memindahkan warga Palestina keluar dari Rafah dan ke pantai Gaza menjelang invasi yang diantisipasi, ” menurut sebuah laporan yang mengutip para pejabat AS.

Netanyahu tak mengungkap secara rinci kapan pemindahan massal ini akan digelar.

Sebuah dari Al Arabiya mengatakan bahwa saat ini tentara Israel telah menentukan titik lokasi yang nantinya akan dijadikan sebagai tempat penampungan jutaan pengungsi Rafah.

“Tentara Israel dilaporkan mengirimkan peta daerah tersebut kepada pekerja bantuan minggu ini,” jelas pejabat AS.

Merespon rencana pemindahan warga Rafah yang akan dilakukan Israel, Washington secara terbuka menyatakan penolakannya terhadap rencana migrasi dan invasi Israel ke Rafah.

Untuk mencegah rencana tersebut, Presiden AS Joe Biden meminta Israel menerapkan perlindungan sipil. Ia bahkan mengancam akan mengubah kebijakan dukungannya terhadap Israel jika serangan tanpa perlindungan terhadap warga sipil.

WHO: Invasi Israel ke Rafah Picu Pertumpahan Darah

Sejumlah organisasi kemanusian termasuk Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) juga turut menentang rencana invasi yang akan dilakukan Israel di Rafah.

Israel berdalih penyerangan Rafah dilakukan untuk melumpuhkan benteng pertahanan milisi Hamas yang sebagian besar berada di bawah tanah Rafah.

Namun Direktur Jenderal (Dirjen) WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus menilai penyerangan di Kota Rafah Gaza selatan hanya akan memicu dampak lebih buruk. Pasalnya, terdapat sebanyak 1,2 juta orang yang mengungsi di Rafah untuk mencari perlindungan dari perang Israel-Hamas.

“WHO sangat prihatin bahwa operasi militer skala penuh di Rafah, dapat menyebabkan pertumpahan darah, dan semakin melemahkan sistem kesehatan yang sudah rusak,” kata Tedros di media sosial X.

Operasi militer di Rafah dapat memicu gelombang pengungsian baru, yang menyebabkan kepadatan penduduk, terbatasnya akses terhadap makanan, air dan sanitasi serta lebih banyak wabah penyakit yang tentunya bisa memicu lonjakan korban jiwa.
