Is MANSCAPED™ REALLY that good? We spoke to five guys who have been using the grooming products and they shared their thoughts on why male hygiene MATTERS

MANSCAPED products are designed to help men stay buffed, trimmed and feeling their bestFive guys discuss how The Performance Package 4.0, the MANSCAPED Body Wash and the Manscaped 2-In-1 Shampoo + Conditioner have helped them maintain peak hygiene DailyMail.com readers can get 20 per cent off at MANSCAPED by shopping here

Whether it’s updating their shaver, paying better attention to the ingredients in their shampoo or taking the time to trim ‘down there’, there are plenty of ways that guys can step up their grooming routines.

And we’re increasingly seeing men make these moves to adopt better self-care and embrace peak hygiene – which is helped by the fact that there are now more grooming products than ever to choose from.

MANSCAPED burst onto the male grooming scene five years ago, encouraging men to sit up and take notice of their health and hygiene.

There’s a good chance you may have spotted one of the ingeniously named products – such as the Weed Whacker®, Lawn Mower® or Crop Preserver® – online, or seen ads for the sleek, suave shavers and trimmers.

Manscaped products, including the Lawn Mower (left) and the Crop Reviver ball toner and Crop Preserver ball deodorant (right), are designed to help men look and feel their best

But how can you know that these products truly work? And whether it’s worth investing in new grooming products rather than sticking to your drugstore body wash and old manual razor?

To help answer these questions, we spoke to five men who have been using Manscaped for the past few weeks to hear their honest opinions on the products.

From a father-of-three who has little time for grooming to a guy in his late 20s with cabinets full of pricey products, these men reveal why male hygiene matters to them – and how MANSCAPED helps them feel like their best selves.

The Performance Package 4.0

This is the big one. The MANSCAPED Performance Package 4.0 contains everything a guy needs to keep his face and body buffed, trimmed and smoothed.

This includes the brand new groin and body trimmer, The Lawn Mower 4.0, which features cutting-edge ceramic blades with advanced SkinSafe™ Technology to reduce grooming accidents – something that’s vital when you’re trimming below the waist.

The MANSCAPED Performance Package 4.0, which comes in a sleek bag and would make the ideal Christmas present, contains everything a guy needs to be well-groomed

The package, which makes the perfect Christmas gift for a guy, also includes the Weed Whacker nose and ear hair trimmer, Crop Preserver ball deodorant, Crop Reviver ball toner and a pair of anti-chafing boxers, all beautifully housed in a sleek travel bag.

Chase says: ‘I’ve previously used my electric razor on my balls and have to be really careful not to cut myself. When I first used the Lawn Mower I was hesitant about cutting myself but actually was able to get into all the tricky to reach areas with no cuts! Obviously there’s a little grow back after a few days, but that’s normal and the other products meant there was no irritation from that.’

Andrew says: ‘I’ve always been terrified of shaving down there… One little nick could spell disaster. I’ve tried razors, shavers and scissors, but because I’m so worried about cuts it’s always been a mess. The Lawn Mower offered a smooth shave. The nose and ear hair trimmer will be a lifesaver. My hairdresser is always telling me that ears are the hairiest parts of a man’s body. And I’m embarrassed by my ear hair. Now I have a tool to effectively remove it.’

Alex says: ‘Honestly, I hadn’t thought too much about ‘ball care’ before trying out these products and the idea of a ball deodorant or a toner seemed totally foreign to me. But I’m sold! The products are nicely presented so they look swish on my bathroom shelves and are easy to incorporate into my daily routine.’

Sean says: ‘My initial thoughts were that I was impressed by just how much you get in this package – and by how premium it all looks. The boxers were a fun added extra. The Lawn Mower is easily my favorite product… It’s easy to use and gives a smooth, close trim wherever you use it. I’m pretty low maintenance and would rather not spend hours in the bathroom perfecting my grooming routine, and a package like this makes it all so simple.’

Jordan says: ‘My wife bought me the Performance Package 4.0 a few months ago and it might be my favorite gift ever. Not only do the products work brilliantly, but they’re just cool to own. I no longer need to worry about which grooming and hygiene products to buy anymore… I’m officially a MANSCAPED guy through and through.’

MANSCAPED 2-In-1 Shampoo + Conditioner

There are plenty of hair care products on the market, a number of which are targeted at men, but the MANSCAPED 2-In-1 Shampoo + Conditioner goes one step further than most.

Not only is it rich in antioxidants to leave your hair naturally hydrated and revitalized without looking greasy, but it boasts a cologne-quality fragrance featuring MANSCAPED’s signature refined scent.

The 2-In-1 Shampoo + Conditioner is also vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, aluminum-free and paraben-free, so you know you’re getting a premium product and not putting any nasties into your hair.

Andrew says: ‘I’m fussy about the products that I put on my hair so the fact that MANSCAPED had a long ‘free-from’ list was an instant bonus. This shampoo actually made my hair feel strong and healthy from the first time I used it. It’s become my go-to now.’

Sean says: ‘My hair gets greasy very quickly, so this was a concern for me when trying a two-in-one shampoo and conditioner. But even a couple of days after use my hair still looks great. And the scent is lovely too!’

Alex says: ‘Previously I’d just use any old shampoo – and often steal from my girlfriend – but MANSCAPED has persuaded me that it’s worth investing in my own products. I really like the packaging too – it’s sleek, simple and manly.’

Chase says: ‘Clean, fresh and not overpowering… Love it!’

Jordan says: ‘I only use this shampoo now for my hair. With a busy family life (I’m dad to three kids under five), anything that helps me save time is appreciated, so I love that this is a two-in-one shampoo and conditioner but that it doesn’t compromise on quality.’

MANSCAPED Body Wash

The first and most important step to good hygiene is body wash – but not all body washes are created equal. This one from MANSCAPED is super hydrating and also features a cologne-worthy scent.

Plus, the MANSCAPED Body Wash is infused with aloe vera and sea salt to leave skin feeling soothed and moisturized, and it features the same free-from list as the 2-In-1 Shampoo + Conditioner.

It comes in a large 16oz bottle and works up into a lather that feels truly luxurious, while also treating the body to a deep clean and leaving it smelling and feeling fresh.

Andrew says: ‘It feels really nice slathering this on in the shower and I really like the scent. It’s a big bottle, too, so will last for ages.’

Alex says: ‘So often body washes can feel drying, but after using this one from MANSCAPED my skin actually felt moisturized.’

Jordan says: ‘MANSCAPED has become my go-to for grooming (body and face), shampoo for hair and, of course, the new body wash. I might be the cleanest, most well-maintained guy I know. When you look good and smell good… you feel good!’

Sean says: ‘Simple, soothing and smells great! Can’t fault this product.’

Chase says: ‘I love the packaging and that this isn’t an overly powerful scent. Some products that are designed for men are too heavily scented and try too hard to differentiate themselves as ‘for men’. This is more subtly manly.’
