And Gujarat Titans had a very sorry affair with the bat. First up, Riddhiman Saha. He managed just one run of seven balls. Can you imagine in today’s day and age where even 11 ball is very crucial in T20 cricket, Riddhiman Saha took his time eight of seven balls and managed only one run and then went back to the dugout. Then came in captain Shubman Gill. Well, Shubman Gill’s performances in this IPL haven’t been convincing at all and there is a lot of lack of consistency. But obviously there have been matches where Shubman Gill managed well. He backed it well but in last few matches he hasn’t been really well with the bat. And in match against RCB at the Chinnaswamy as well, he managed just two runs of seven balls and then came in Sai Sudarshan. But then came in Gujarat Titans middle order Batters especially Shahrukh Khan. He batted well, David Miller batted well. Rahul Tewatiya also made 30 odd runs. They went on to 117 for six in 28 balls. RCB managed 25 runs and five wickets fell. So 5 wickets went back to the dugout and that’s where the big problem for Royal Challengers Bengaluru stands out now. In this match, the target was very, very low. It was of just 148 runs, but imagine if GD had made some 160 runs also. It was a big one for RCB then, so it would have been a very difficult chase for RCB. But at the end of the day, all said and done, as RCB have won this match by 4 wickets, they will have to think of the coming matches, what different they can do. But as things are for RCB, same story stands even now. And the RCB thing is that Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis, they continue to win matches for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. But today we have to talk about the performance, the great performance from the team that was I think from the bowlers because they performed really well. Virat Kohli was pretty disappointed the way he got out. He took 4 wickets and got GT somewhere in the game in between the match and especially around the 11th over where we got to know that how in the span of 28 balls RCB lost 5 wickets and that’s one. But on the other side Mohammed Siraj and yes they are also deserve big big credit Mohammed Siraj for the wickets he took. You can see the way he changed the game in the power play only he took Ridhiman Saha and Shubman Gills wicket and that was all about RCB and GT. Now Mohammed Siraj has also got the player of the match award for his performance. RCB must be really very happy while they are still at the bottom rug position and you know they are in that lower order of the points table and nothing would change with them in the coming matches. But I think it’s really good for their self respect, it’s really good for their pride and that’s what they are playing for. So that’s all about RCB and GT match.
