derby county release season ticket details for 2024/25

Pride Park, the home of Derby County FC.

Derby County have released their 2024/25 season-ticket prices – and they are being increased for the first time in five years.

Season tickets for next term will go on sale on Monday with fans hoping they will be back in the Championship given their current promotion push.

Derby say they recognise fans are experiencing a cost of living crisis and have been determined to keep the new prices as fair and as affordable as possible. Discounts are still available for fans who have held season tickets for a consecutive number of years, but there will still be a rise compared to last season.

A phase one lowest-priced adult season ticket for 2024/25, which is £346 behind the goal with a 10-year loyalty discount, would place the club 15th lowest in League One and fifth lowest in the Championship.

Derby owner David Clowes said the club would have liked to have kept prices frozen, but the present economic climate meant it was not possible.

“The club will never take the loyalty and devotion of our supporters for granted and, in an ideal world, we would have preferred a continued price freeze. However, that would be unsustainable in the present economic climate,” he said.

“What we are determined to do is reward the loyalty of both the longest-standing season ticket holders and those that purchase in the first phase of season ticket sales.

“Since we were fortunate enough to purchase the club, I have been humbled by the astonishing support both home and away that sees Derby County having the highest attendances in League One and consistently selling out our away allocation. Personally, I want to thank everyone who continues to get behind our great club.”

Season tickets are considered the most cost-effective way of watching Derby given they offer 25 and 35 per cent saving compared to buying tickets on a match-by-match basis. A finance plan for the 2023/24 season will be in place once again and will give supporters the option of spreading the cost via direct debit.

The cost of a season ticket for 2024/25 behind the goal with 10 years longevity discount is £345.80. Last season it was £286 and is a rise just shy of £60. Last year’s most expensive season ticket was a sideline seat for a fan who had 0-4 years discount. They had to pay £468 but next season it will rise to £537.

On that basis, and on current prices, that would be the third-highest season ticket in League One and tenth-highest in the Championship. This first phase of season ticket sales will run until 4pm, Friday April 26, the day before the final game of the season against Carlisle United. Those renewing before this deadline will guarantee their seat location at the lowest possible price.
