Just days after becoming the first Mumbai Indians (MI) player to play 200 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rohit Sharma created history and went to the to the top of an elite list for the franchise after being named in the Hardik Pandya-led team for the blockbuster clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday (April 11).
Rohit is playing as a non-captain for the Mumbai-based franchise after 11 years after he was replaced by Hardik as captain. The five-time champions’ are looking to win their second game of the season after they ended a three-mach losing run with a victory over the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday (April 7).
