New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: India’s active COVID-19 caseload declined to 3.01 lakh on Thursday, the lowest in 187 days after 31,990 patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry. It also said that 31,923 new COVID-19 cases and 282 deaths were reported in India during the same period.
As per the Health Ministry data, India’s total caseload stands at 3.35 crore while 4.46 lakh patients have succumbed to the infection. Meanwhile, 3.28 crore people have recovered from COVID-19, taking the country’s recovery rate to 97.77 per cent, the highest since March 2020.
The Health Ministry also said that more than 83.39 crore vaccine doses have been administered in India so far under the centralised vaccine drive. It said that 71.38 lakh jabs were inoculated in the last 24 hours.Internet Explorer Channel Network
