Fans have gone wild as Shania Twain is announced as the headliner for the BST Hyde Park Festival on July 7.

The Man I Feel Like A Woman hitmaker will return to London as she joins a star-studded line-up, who will grace the London summer concert stage sponsored by American Express.

The Canadian superstar will be joined by special guest The Corrs for the evening with more names still to be announced.

Speaking about the exciting performance, Shania said: ‘I’ve seen so many of my own musical heroes headlining at Hyde Park and have wonderful summer memories there. 

‘It is a real privilege to headline my own show this year. It’s going to be a s**t-kicking party!’

Taking to Instagram before tickets go on sale on Wednesday 14 February at 10am, Shania expressed her excitement for her return to London as she shared a video from her first ever performance in the UK in 1999.

As the star belted out Man I Feel Like A Woman to a crowd of adoring fans, she captioned the snap: ‘This was my first EVER gig in the UK… There must have been around 50,000 people in Hyde Park. No pressure!!’

She added: ‘London – I’m coming back for you baby!! It’s a real privilege to be headlining on July 7th ❤️‍’.

Shania joins previously announced headliners Andrea Bocelli (5 July), Robbie Williams (6 July) and Stray Kids (14 July) with more to be announced soon.

Fans went wild for the news as they took to social media to share their excitement.

One wrote: ‘OMG OMG !!!! I knew you were up to something cannot wait to have you back here! Also I love that you announce this a year after you were here for the QOM album signing’. 

A second exclaimed: ‘OH MY GOODNESSSSSSS’ while another added: ‘Yaaaaaaas Shania soooo down for this’,

One fan even had their  ’emergency credit card’ at the ready after the former Take That member revealed the news on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Robbie is reportedly bringing his array or iconic hits to the summer stage, including Let Me Entertain You, Fell, Rock DJ and his best-selling tune, Angels.

The crooners’ fans have gone into meltdown after he revealed the London date on social media, taking to X to convey their excitement.

‘I’ve just ordered tickets and booked a room as I fly home from Australia, after seeing you…madness reigns supreme.’
