ITC share price is facing resistance in the range of Rs 465 to 470, so fresh buying will be triggered only above this range. VLA Ambala, SEBI Registered Research Analyst, and Founder of Stock Market Today advised that the short and mid-term traders should wait for this range.

“However, if your view is to hold for the long term, you can consider buying in the range of 390 to 435. It’s almost a 10% wide range, so investing in parts is suggested. The Current Price Marker (CPM) is at Rs 455, so wait for the price to reach the buying range. If buying now, then invest in parts and add more once the price breaks out above the resistance of 480 or do averaging at the given level,” she suggested.

The market analyst further, said “Expect targets in the range of 510 to 700 with a stop loss at 370. Keep the holding time in your consideration, ranging from 3 months to 1.5 years.”
