NAM/G77 SUMMIT
The Police have tasked participants attending the summit to adhere to security guidelines ahead of the Conference which kicks off on Monday, January 15, in Kampala. ;
Uganda is hosting the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the G-77 + China taking place at the Speke Resort Convention Centre Munyonyo, Kampala. ;
Uganda Police Force took to X, formerly Twitter, to extend a hearty welcome to delegates attending the forthcoming summit in the Pearl of Africa.

The Police reassured participants of a safe environment, emphasising the absence of specific threats and the ongoing partnerships with organisers to implement a comprehensive safety plan. ;
“Delegates are encouraged to cooperate with security teams, follow guidelines at venues and checkpoints, and stay updated on security information through official channels,” the Police said on Sunday. ;
The NAM summit officially kicks off on Monday and delegates from 120 countries plus more observers are expected. ;
The summit will be immediately followed by the G77 summit. ;
