Salons say that while people still seek basic services, certain treatments are getting the cold shoulder in this frosty weather.

“Be it a foot spa, hair spa, manicure or pedicure – all water-related services witness a dip in demand in winter. Many people avoid a full facial as well, they just go for face massage, where we use more moisturiser and less water,” says Aashmeen Munjaal, director of a salon and hair academy.
