Ibu bapa gembira anak-anak kembali ke sekolah

LANGKAWI – Rata-rata ibu bapa melahirkan rasa gembira dengan proses pembukaan semula sekolah yang dilaksanakan secara berperingkat sejak 3 Oktober lalu.

Hasil tinjauan Sinar Ahad mendapati rata-rata ibu bapa teruja dengan perkembangan tersebut dan yakin akan keberkesanan prosedur operasi standard (SOP) yang dijalankan di setiap sekolah seperti ditetapkan oleh Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN).

Seorang pemandu bot, Azman Ahmad, 50, berkata, dia amat lega sebaik sahaja mendapat tahu berita pembukaan semula sekolah.

“Saya sangat bersyukur sekolah telah kembali dibuka. Saya percaya di sekolah nanti mereka akan lebih fokus dan mudah mengikuti pelajaran,” ujar bapa kepada enam anak itu.

Azman juga menyatakan keyakinannya terhadap SOP yang dilaksanakan bagi memastikan keselamatan pelajar sentiasa terjamin semasa di sekolah.

“Saya yakin dengan SOP yang perlu diikuti namun untuk lebih menjamin keselamatan, saya turut menyediakan pensanitasi tangan dan penutup muka setiap hari sebelum mereka ke sekolah,” katanya.

Keterujaan tersebut turut dikongsi bapa kepada tiga anak, Azmail Azami, 34, yang turut menzahirkan kesyukuran setelah mendengar berita bahawa para pelajar sudah boleh kembali ke sekolah.

“Anak saya baru memasuki Darjah Satu. Jadi saya berharap apabila sekolah kembali dibuka, dia akan mula bersemangat dan sekali gus dapat memupuk minat terhadap pelajaran,” jelasnya.

Hasil pemerhatian juga mendapati ibu bapa kini sedang sibuk membuat persiapan untuk anak-anak mereka kembali ke sekolah.

Bagi Noorshamila Ahmad Basri, 30, sebagai persiapan untuk anaknya yang bakal memasuki Darjah Satu nanti, dia hanya membeli barang-barang yang perlu sahaja.

“Walaupun boleh pakai baju biasa tetapi disebabkan nak pergi ke sekolah, jadi saya pakaikan uniform sekolah. Setakat ini pakai baju sekolah sedia ada yang masih muat lagi. Kasut kalau dah tak muat kena beli baru nampaknya.

“Harapan saya semoga kita sama-sama jaga anak-anak kita. Ibu bapa perlu mainkan peranan penting. Saya juga mohon pihak sekolah terutama guru untuk sentiasa ingatkan anak murid supaya patuhi SOP,” ujarnya.

Seorang pesara guru pula, Rusnih Namin, 56, dia yakin pihak sekolah mampu memastikan semua pelajar mematuhi SOP yang telah ditetapkan.

“Dengan semua pelajar mematuhi SOP, saya yakin kita tidak akan mendengar kluster yang muncul dari sekolah.

“Ditambah lagi dengan program imunisasi remaja yang sedang berjalan ketika ini, jadi saya fikir semua ibu bapa perlu yakin untuk menghantar anak ke sekolah,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, bagi seorang pelajar Tingkatan Dua Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Ayer Hangat, Mohd Adam Danish menyatakan tidak sabar untuk kembali ke sekolah yang bakal bermula pada 30 Oktober ini.

“Saya tidak sabar untuk mengikuti semula pelajaran secara bersemuka dengan guru serta peluang untuk kembali berjumpa dengan rakan-rakan,” katanya.

Ketika ditanya mengenai mod pengajian mana yang disukai, Adam mengakui lebih memilih untuk kembali ke sekolah.

Menteri Kanan (Pendidikan), Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin menerusi Sidang Media Pengoperasian Sekolah, pada 12 September lalu telah mengumumkan bahawa sekolah akan dibuka secara berperingkat.
