CYBERJAYA : Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he will name the Employees Provident Fund’s new CEO “soon”, adding that the government was still vetting the candidates.
“It will be decided soon. The process is ongoing.
“There are candidates who were nominated for the post but, as usual, we have to go through a number of processes before announcing it,” Anwar said at a press conference at Cyberview Hotel, where the Cabinet ministers are having a two-day retreat.
The post has been vacant since December, after then CEO Amir Hamzah Azizan was appointed as the second finance minister.
