Hundreds of Dutch Teens Want to Unleash Race War

At least several hundred Dutch teenagers are active online in right-wing extremist networks, where violence is glorified. This is stated by the National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism (NCTV) in the Terrorism Threat Assessment Netherlands, which was published on Tuesday.

These are international networks, where supporters glorify and justify violence intended “to accelerate a race war,” according to the NCTV. This so-called ‘accelerationism’ is an ideology that is mainly spread via social media.

race war

By unleashing a race war, supporters want to “create chaos in society in which the current political system can be replaced by a white (National Socialist) ethno-state”. Internationally, there are several thousand supporters, including “at least a few hundred Dutch people between the ages of 12 and 20”, according to the NCTV. “As far as the Dutch participants are concerned, it can be concluded that they relatively often seem to be struggling with psychosocial problems and have an inadequate social safety net.”
