Huma Abedin and Alex Soros made a rare public appearance at Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala dinner on Sunday evening.
The 47-year-old attended the event alongside 38-year-old beau Alex – and both were dressed to impress to suit the theme of the exclusive event: The Garden of Time.
The statuesque beauty looked whimsical in a long embroidered gown in white by Oscar de la Renta.
The lace dress, which retails for $5,990, features a thin black tie around the waist, has a simple A-line silhouette with corset-boning and a scalloped trim.
Huma let her long raven tresses flow loosely and tucked her locks behind her ears before accessorizing with a black clutch and black pointed high heels.
Alex – who was previously named as the heir to his father’s $25 billion empire – wore a light grey suit, which he paired with a sky-blue shirt and black leather shoes.
The loved-up pair left the event hand-in-hand.
Huma, who is Hilary Clinton’s former aide, caused a stir in February after going public with her billionaire beau Alex Soros – who is nearly 10 years her junior.
She made her public debut in February this year with Alex after he shared a snap of them enjoying a dinner date at a restaurant in Paris in honor of Valentine’s Day.
The pair have kept a low profile since then and scarcely have been seen in public. In April, Page Six reported they were sitting courtside to watch the Knicks take on the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
The romance between the pair comes seven years after Huma divorced her former husband Anthony Weiner – who was engulfed in a number of high-profile scandals.
Weiner was caught on multiple occasions sending explicit snaps to various women – even during his political campaigns.

Huma went public with her billionaire beau Alex Soros – who is nearly 10 years her junior – in February
But he failed to learn from his missteps and was later sentenced to 21 months in prison after he began sexting a 15-year-old girl.
Huma, who had initially stood by him, eventually decided to pull the plug and the pair went their separate ways.
The former couple share a son, Jordan, who was born in 2011.
Huma was previously rumored to be dating Bradley Cooper for a short spell in 2022 – reportedly arriving at the Met Gala that year with The Hangover star before parting ways to keep their cover.
Huma is reportedly close friends with Vogue editor Anna Wintour and has attended the exclusive event since 2016.
The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
The honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
‘This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements, and all have distinct style histories with the Met Gala,’ Vogue shared.
The showcase will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection – with many of the pieces too fragile to ever be worn again.
