Fans of the Pan-India film, Kantara, from all across the globe are eagerly waiting for its prequel – Kantara Chapter 1 — A Legend. The latest buzz is that the production house, Hombale Films, has erected a huge indoor film set at Kundapura, a coastal town situated in Udupi district.
All Set To Go
Actor-director Rishab Shetty’s magnum opus is all set to go on the floors as a huge 200 by 200 feet set has been constructed for the shooting of the film. While some parts of the shooting are expected to take place inside the forest, the indoor set will house the best of the best modern amenities including a sophisticated dubbing studio and editing suite. According to sources, top craftsmen and technicians, including carpenters have been working on the set which is of international standard.
Permanent Set
While actors are being trained in various skills and art forms, it is learnt that the huge set will be retained even after the shooting for future prospects. It may be recalled that the unit of Richard Anthony is being shifted near Udupi wherein Rakshit Shetty will soon commence his directorial venture.
The first look of Kantara Chapter 1 has left everyone mesmerised. Composer Ajaneesh Loknath has been retained as its music director and Arvind Kashyap as its cinematographer. The team is yet to reveal the rest of the cast as some new faces are set to make their entry in the coming days.
