SSC Stenographer Examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates for Stenographer Grade C & Grade D Jobs. There are only stages of Examination in the SSC Stenographer Recruitment Process, namely, SSC Stenographer Tier I & Skill Test.   • Grammar Preparation: Since a total of 100 questions of English are asked in the SSC Stenographer Examination, a decent amount of Grammar-based questions are framed in the exam. Various Grammar Based Questions like Check for Error in a Sentence, Sentence Improvement, Fill Ups, etc, are asked in Steno Examination. However, if you analyze the past year’s papers of the SSC Steno Examination, you will see there are certain topics and Grammar Rules on which maximum questions are asked. These topics include Gerund, Infinitive and Participle, Uncountable Noun, No Articles Needed, Bare Infinitives, Usage of Hardly/Scarcely, etc. Yes, you should pay special attention to these important Grammar Rules & Topics, but at the same time, you will have to study each and every Grammar Rule if you want to score high marks in SSC Steno Exam.
  • Mastering RC Questions: A decent amount of RC Questions come in the SSC Stenographer Examination. Around 3-4 passages are asked in the Stenographer Pre Examination.   • Vocabulary: In SSC Stenographer Examination, you should be prepared to answer a lot of Vocabulary based questions. The main type of questions from this topic includes One Word Substitutions, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms, and Proverbs.
