The Philippines on Wednesday recorded 129 new COVID-19 cases, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
The latest bulletin showed that the nationwide caseload increased to 4,124,686, while the active cases slightly decreased to 3,118.
There are 159 new recoveries, increasing the total to 4,054,802. No new deaths were recorded on Wednesday, death toll remained at 66,766.
In the past 14 days, NCR remains with most cases with 656, followed by Calabarzon with 362, Western Visayas with 195, Central Luzon with 191, and Central Visayas with 113.
DOH said a total of 2,399 individuals were tested as of Tuesday while 292 testing labs submitted data.
The Health department added that the cumulative positivity rate is 13.4%. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
