No longer do you have to choose between a quesadilla or a burger.

Ingredients

• 450 g

  beef mince

• 1

  clove garlic, crushed

• 1

  jalapeño, crushed

• 1 tsp.

  chilli powder

Salt

Freshly ground black pepper

• 5 tbsp.

  vegetable oil

• 8

  small flour tortillas

• 150 g

  grated cheddar

• 150 g

  shredded Monterey Jack

• 115 g

  shredded lettuce

Pico de gallo

• 120 g

  sour cream, for drizzling

Directions

1. In a large bowl, combine beef, garlic, jalapeño, and chilli powder and season with salt andpepper. Mix until just combined, then shape mixtureinto 4 thin patties.
2. In a large pan over medium-high heat, heat1 tablespoon of oil. Cook patties to your desireddoneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium.Transfer to a plate and wipe pan clean.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add a flourtortilla and top with a small handful each of cheesesand lettuce.
4. Place a cooked burger on top, then top withmore cheese, and some pico de gallo and a drizzle ofsour cream. Top with a tortilla and cook until golden,about 2 minutes.
5. Flip quesadilla and cook 2 minutes more. Repeatwith remaining ingredients to make 4 quesadillaburgers.
