Watch: MS Dhoni and CSK fan craze takes over Mumbai ahead of MI clash

The MS Dhoni and CSK fan craze has taken over the city of Mumbai ahead of the much-anticipated clash against MI in the IPL 2024 on April 14. Dhoni has once again been grabbing the limelight during the course of the season, as even opposition fans have chanted his name and cheered for the legendary wicketkeeper during the matches so far. CSK reached the city of one of their main rivals in the IPL and the craze for Dhoni and the side completely took over.Â

CSK posted a video on their official X account showing the travel of the team bus in the city of Mumbai. Fans were seen chasing the bus with their mobile cameras on, in a bid to get the glimpse of their favourtite stars and Dhoni. The bus found it a bit difficult to make it to the ground as the fans had surrounded it in a bid to cheer the players on ahead of their practice sessions. CSK went on to call Wankhede, ‘Wankheden’ and revealed they were overwhelmed by the support they got.Â

“The WankheDEN Vibes! Overwhelmed!” said CSK on X.Â

How every IPL 2024 is a home match for CSK?

Ajinkya Rahane had recently explained how every game feels like a home match for CSK and claimed Dhoni to be the main reason behind it. The India batter also revealed how they have been able to learn from Dhoni as well during the course of the season.Â

“In a different perspective, when we are travelling everywhere just because of one man, we are playing a home match just because of Mahi Bhai (MS Dhoni). That’s a wonderful feeling, obviously. When we are playing with him, so many things you can learn as a cricketer, as a human being, how he conducts himself… Mumbai guys, Maharashtra guys playing in CSK, the atmosphere which we have in the dressing room within the group is fantastic,” Rahane said.

Dhoni has been getting a big response from the fans as seen during the win over KKR recently.Â
