WITH veterans Aby Maraño and Ara Galang in Chery Tiggo lineup, Eya Laure is more confident to play this Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 All-Filipino Conference.
After finishing fourth in the last PVL season, Laure said that having Maraño and Galang’s experience can help their young team.
“We (Crossovers) are more confident going to the PVL because we have Ara and Aby to guide us, most especially because our team is composed of young talents,” Laure said to the press.
Galang, known for her calm presence inside the court; and Maraño, known for her fighting spirit, Laure shared how they easily connect during their training.
“When it comes to adjustments, it was just easy because they made it easier, too, they allowed us to embrace them. Ara and her calming presence, while Aby’s maturity helped us to learn.”
For her goal this PVL season, Laure wanted to feel what she felt during her UAAP Season 81 stint, where the Tigresses captured a silver finish.
“My goal this season is to have another podium finish. I want to feel what I felt when I was in UAAP. Most especially UAAP Season 81. I hope this PVL Conference, we can have a podium finish.”
