Possible Side Effects
Quantity Recommendation
- Wasabi can be enjoyed in moderation as part of a healthy diet. At this time there is not significant evidence to determine the appropriate quantity of wasabi that should be consumed by individuals. Individuals with bleeding disorders should consult with a health care provider before eating wasabi. It is also recommended that you stop eating wasabi two weeks before surgery to reduce your risk of bleeding.

Possible Side Effects
- It is best to consume wasabi with caution, as this root paste has a very spicy taste, it has a diuretic action and in some cases, when consumed in excess, it can harm the kidneys.
Quantity Recommendation
- If you are going to use wasabi in any recipe, always put the recommended amount in the recipe, so as not to exaggerate the amount. My recommendation is to try wasabi and gradually include it in your diet, consuming it as fresh as possible, approximately one tablespoon a day.
