Notoriously-private Home and Away actress Lynne McGranger is set to give fans a glimpse into her life off-screen in a tell-all memoir.
The 68-year-old Seven star has become a household name playing Irene Roberts and is the longest-serving female cast member on the soap.
But while McGranger has been a mainstay in people’s living rooms for nearly 30 years, the 68-year-old is careful on letting out details about her home life.

In releasing her memoir titled Acting Up — Me, Myself and Irene, she joked to fans about her COVID project.
“While all of you were learning how to bake (I wrote) a cheeky little memoirs book,” she wrote.
“It’s called Acting Up and it’s just a little bit abut my life from when I was very, very young to now.”
Proving her star power — and the vault of stories McGranger might be dipping into — a flood of fellow Australian celebrities commented under her post their congratulations.
“I’ve been very lucky to get a sneak peek at this book and it’s awesome!! So proud @lynnemcgranger and I can’t wait for everyone to read it,” Ada Nicodemou shared.
“Cant wait to read it, is there anything you cant do,” Balcatta star Johnny Ruffo wrote.
McGranger took over the role as Irene Roberts from Jacquy Phillips in 1993.
Off-screen she has been with her husband Paul for more than 30 years, the pair sharing one daughter, Clancy.
The book will be available through Echo Publishing from November.Internet Explorer Channel Network
