Whether she’s rocking designer or hitting the high street, Holly Willoughby is an ever-stylish presence on screen but she has taken style cues from her mother dearest again.
The British presenter has already been playing dress up this week as she looked unrecognisable in her TikTok video where she transformed into Annie to plug the release of her new book, Reflections.
The This Morning co-host put on a bewitching display for a ‘whodunnit’ Halloween special as she gave her followers on Instagram a sneak peek of her sultry ensemble before all the fun kicked off.
Releasing a stunning video with a retro filter, the 40-year-old broadcaster looked every inch a blonde bombshell as she wore a ruched red dress with a ruffled neckline and a fur stole, diamond necklace and red heels with her hair in glamorous waves, smoky eye makeup and a classic red lip.
‘Miss Scarlet ️,’ she announced in the caption as she invited her fans to tune into a Cluedo-inspired special on the chat show.
While there were likely no guesses for what kind of fun antics would be going down in studio following her post, where she got her glamorous dress was no mystery either.
While noting who her accessories were by, the mother-of-three explained in the caption: ‘Dress… my mum’s (again).’
Earlier this year, Holly celebrated hitting her milestone 40th birthday by paying sartorial tribute to her mum Linda, 73.
For her birthday, she wore an elegant peplum navy dress with a floral pattern and she shared a side-by-side image showing her mum wearing it back in 1988 as she celebrated her 40th birthday!
The heartwarming post pulled even more at heartstrings at the time as it was her way of feeling a bit closer to her as she had not been able to see her parents due to COVID restrictions.
Holly Willoughby lifted the lid on the sentimental backstory of wearing her mum’s dress in a beautiful Instagram post.
