There is holiday hope on the horizon for people across the globe as double-jabbed travellers from the EU will also be able to make the journey, according to The Financial Times and Reuters.
A UK Government source said they were still awaiting final details from Washington but “it looks like good news”.
UK aviation sources were also anticipating a positive announcement.
Before the pandemic, more than four million Britons jetted out to the US every year.
It comes after The Telegraph reported Boris Johnson would tell Mr Biden to “lift the travel ban and let Britons back into America”.
Reports were swirling as Mr Johnson is set to meet Mr Biden at the White House for the first time on Tuesday.
A senior government source told the newspaper: “The Prime Minister will make an impassioned case for Brits who’ve been double jabbed to be allowed to travel to the US.
