Disney Plussassa parhaillaan pyörivän todella kovan X-Men ’97 -sarjan ohjaajat haluaisivat tehdä Ryhmä-X-elokuvan oikeiden näyttelijöiden kanssa.

Ohjaajat Chase Conley ja Emi Yonemura olivat Screerantin haastattelussa, jossa heiltä kysyttiin asiasta.

– Aiomme aivan varmasti vastata siihen puheluun, mikäli joku soittaa meille, Conley sanoo.

– En todellakaan sanoisi ei sille puhelulle, koska rakastan haasteita ja uusien asioiden tekemistä, Yonemura sanoo.

X-Men ’97 osoittaa ettei supersankariähky ole todellinen teoria, vaan fanit ovat vain odotelleet laadukkaampia tuotantoja katsottavaksi. Marvel-fanit suorastaan rakastavat tätä nostalgista uutuussarjaa.

Mutantit ovat kuitenkin jo MCU:ssa. Kamala Khan eli Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) paljastui mutantiksi.
